Beginners Quilt

                        

These are held once a month every 3rd Wed and every 3rd Sat of the month. 

Bring your own project or let us help choose one, feel free to come in to the store  and chose your materials and any equipment you may need before the class.

We get you started on your project and give ongoing help throughout to completion.

$20 per day plus materials

Friends of the Barn Koha Quilt Group

The Friends of the Barn group makes Koha quilts for charititable organisations and those in need.

Fabrics are donated by generous quilters, thereby helping to reduce an out of control stash!

Women’s Refuge, Foster NZ, Hospice and Birthright are just some of the recipients of the quilts made by this group.

 Friends of the Barn meet on the 1st Wed of the month, new members are always welcome.

Tuesday Group

Meets every Tuesday to sew and socialise, new members welcome.

Wednesday Group 

Meets every 2nd Wed of the month to sew and socialise, new members welcome.

Friday Knitters

Meets weekly- new members welcome.

Harvest Bag

This bag contains a divided pocket internally and outside pockets.

A great bag for taking to workshops or just an everyday bag for work. 

Class fee $60 plus materials

Kaleidoscope Quilt

May 11th and 12th - 10am -4pm

Uses a border fabric from Jason Yenter.

1. Prism in either blue or green

2. Periwinkle Spring in blue and cream.

This quilt uses a special technique that is a must for your quilting repertoire.  So many possibilities with this block.
Comes as a kit.
